highland'10

this trip was 2 weeks ago, hosted by international student club of UoE. it was last minute thing when someone let out her ticket and i get to hop on, as i missed the ticketing session earlier because u have to queue 2 hours to get a pass. it was a fun trip except crappy pasta prepared by student, which tasted similar to UTP V3 cafe's western food. other than that, everything was great. wonderful scottish student tour guide, awesome roomates of a night, breathtaking scenery, and erm, maybe a little too much history class. gosh we malaysian should study more about world history rather than 500 years old of the great melaka. so here were the places i left my footprint

oxford look-alike, dunkeld

of jacobites and government army, battle of culloden
(there're still people mourning over jacobites that lost their life on the battlefield, and Daniel, the student tour guide got very aggressive and emotional telling us what happened hundred years ago. he is a scottish)

clava cairns, where bronze age people offer their late tribal chief to god in accordance to the relation between rising and setting of sun at that area

not sure where was this because just received calls from malaysia that someone broke his ulna and radius

lovely isn't it? pray hard that i get to go again during spring term
