it was a blast! such great impact with minimal props!
i was first skeptical towards this because of its abstract elements. awakening? from what? how do you perform this 'awakening' through body language? btw, i am still yet to understand the meaning of it. no 慧根, too bad. anyway, with so many doubts towards this performance, i decided to give it a try to boost up my cultural/artistic content, lol.
turns out awakenings is superb superb superb nice! 3 chapters with smart-ass lighting control and a little magical props, the whole dance turns out magnificent. i am out of vocab to describe it. oh, and superb soundtrack! and so much better than the cinderella ballet that i have watched earlier.
ok, up next: swan lake and i am really looking forward to it!
